Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PayoffPath (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

PayoffPath provides a debt payoff calculator, budget planner, and AI-powered financial insights to help individuals plan and track their path to becoming debt-free.

The Service is available under a free tier and paid subscription plans (Basic and Pro). Features available to you depend on your current plan.

Account Responsibilities

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You may not create more than one account per person.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• Notify us immediately at hello@payoffpath.ai if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize PayoffPath to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• Free tier: limited to 3 loans; saving plans and PDF export require an email address or account.
• Basic and Pro plans: billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods.
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable advance notice.

Intellectual Property

PayoffPath and its underlying software, content, and design are owned by PayoffPath and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the financial data you enter into the Service. You grant PayoffPath a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include:

• Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk data extraction without written permission.
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with any part of the Service.
• Using the Service to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content.
• Impersonating another person or entity.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PayoffPath is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including financial decisions you make based on projections shown by the calculator.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the integrity of the Service. You may delete your account at any time via Settings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Indiana.
